Sex Educator/Sales Associate for New Smitten Kitten Denver

The Smitten Kitten is a multiple award winning, progressive adult sex toys and equipment retailer specializing in the highest quality, safest and smartest selection of products available. Smitten Kitten will be opening in Denver in April, and we need an exceptional staff! We are seeking a Sex Educator/Sales Associate to work part-time, 20-25 hours a week. This part-time position has the potential to become a full-time, benefit eligible position. Three SE/SA positions are available.
Required Qualifications: Candidate must be highly motivated, self-directed, outgoing, and excited to work on a team; must enjoy working with a diverse group of customers in an education-based retail environment, and must have strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Candidate must be able to multi-task while maintaining high quality customer service. Candidate must possess excellent professional boundaries and be sex-positive. Must be open to working some nights and weekends, as well as Smitten Kitten events.
Preferred qualifications: Experience as a sex educator, experience in high-end sales environments, coursework or B.A. in Women’s Studies, Gender Studies, or GLBTQ Studies, experience maintaining an online retail environment, blogging or other internet writing experience.
